This is a book about a little monkey that wants to play. He goes around and tries to get others to play with him, but no one wants to play and keep telling him to stop monkeying around. Finally, his mother tells him to find other things to do like counting bugs and such. So, the little monkey begins counting things and finds that he enjoys it. Then, he bumps into another little monkey just like him, makes friends, and never bothers the other animals again. This is a good book to use for counting in kindergarten.
